I kept up my positive self-talk and really trusted that I could find an answer to the riddle. Amazing that within the very material of the second part of the first chapter, I found the solution–rearrangement! However, at one point, I entertained the idea of taking the material out of Chapter One and creating two new chapters. I was really letting myself play. The thread that connected the material became clear the more I pondered what the unifying factor of the writing was. Truly, it was fun, a little like reading Nancy Drew as a kid and putting the clues together. Thanks for being there. Gotta go grade some student essays. More later…….
